What Is Going On? – The Whole Story – Esther

Pastoral Internal Jacob Mills continues a series called "What Is Going On?" where we read the entire Bible in a year. The book of Esther takes place in Persia during the exile. Persian leaders are morally questionable, and many Israelites are conforming and hiding their heritage and beliefs. Furthermore, the text of Esther never mentions God. This begs the question: where is God in this almost tragedy? We'll find that even if we don't explicitly see Him, God is always in control, and He's the one who gives us the courage to speak up in morally questionable times.
