Pastor Josh Carstensen is continuing a series on First John. How do you determine what's right and what's wrong? Is it group consensus that makes something right? John states that God is the one who sets the standard for right and wrong. And our role is to have fellowship with God - who will reveal where we have sinned - and ask for his forgiveness.

After the message, spend some quiet time with God and confess your sins. And by doing so, you'll demonstrate that God - not yourself - determines what's right and wrong in your life.
