Biblical basis for hope class
Most of us have either felt hopelessness or walked alongside someone who seemed to be losing hope. But Scripture paints a radically different picture of hope, one that is solid, certain, and rooted in the character and promises of God.
Together we’ll explore:
What biblical hope truly is (and how it differs from wishful thinking)
Our unshakeable basis for hope in God
How to cultivate and maintain hope in the ups, downs, and long stretches of life
Come ready to reflect, engage, and strengthen your confidence in the God who holds your future.

Baptisms at NWH
Baptism is an outward expression of the inward reality of faith in Jesus. It’s a public declaration of following Him and a beautiful picture of dying to our old life and being raised to new life in Christ.
Our next baptism is on February 1.

Pre Marital Class
Our premarital class is designed to equip couples for a lifetime of following Jesus together. Through biblical teaching and honest conversation, we’ll explore what it looks like to keep Christ at the center of your relationship, communicate well, grow through conflict, steward your resources, pursue healthy intimacy, and build a thriving family rooted in faith.
This class is open to any couple exploring what God has next for their relationship—whether you’re recently engaged or intentionally discerning the road ahead.
Dates: Feb. 1, 8, 15, 22 & March 1, 8

Dwell Women's Event
Join us for DWELL, a winter mini-retreat created to help you breathe, be still, and hear from the Lord alongside other Northwest Hills women. The morning will include unhurried worship, guided Scripture meditation, and intentional prayer—creating space to pause, listen, and be renewed.

Flourish Mens (60+) Event
Finishing Strong in the 4th Quarter of Life
A one-day retreat for Christian men ages 60+, designed to encourage faith, purpose, and connection in this season of life.
Why attend?
This retreat exists to help older men stay deeply rooted in Jesus Christ and actively engaged in Kingdom-advancing service—for their own flourishing and for the good of the church.
What to expect:
Biblical teaching focused on Identity, Purpose, and Belonging
Encouragement for faithful living and fruitfulness in later years
Fellowship, conversation, and some light-hearted fun (yes, even a little competition!)

Mexico Trip Info Meeting
This August, Northwest Hills is heading to Rancho Genesis in Baja California to serve and love on children from multiple orphanages. We will partner with Genesis Diez Ministries to create a safe, joyful camp experience for children in need. Whether you're swinging a hammer or leading a game, you'll be part of something life-changing—for them and for you.

Men's Game Night
Looking for a laid-back night to connect? Join us for Men’s Game Night on January 24, 5–7:30pm.
Come for the food, stay for the games, and leave encouraged as we spend time together and hear a short word from one of the guys. No pressure — just show up and jump in.

Men’s 1:27
Every second Saturday of the month, a team of men from Northwest Hills heads out to serve the elderly, single moms, and those in need—both within our church family and throughout the Corvallis community.
Whether you’ve served before or it’s your first time, this is a chance to come shoulder-to-shoulder with other guys, make a real impact, and share a meal together after.

The Hills
The Hills is back on Wednesdays!
Middle School meets 6:00–7:30pm, and High School meets 7:30–9:00pm. Each week students connect with friends, enjoy games and community, and grow in their faith. We can’t wait to see you there!

A fellowship group for women 50ish and over. We gather regularly for friendship, encouragement, and fun activities like coffee, hiking, luncheons, pickleball, games, and more. Whether single or married, all women in this stage of life are welcome!
For our cookie and ornament exchange: Bring a snack to share and if you want to take part in cookie exchange, a dozen cookies. All supplies will be provided for everyone to make a special ornament.

Art of Marriage Class
Six week transformative marriage study designed to inspire and equip couples in every life circumstance.
Engaging content created by FamilyLife (a Cru ministry) in partnership with RightNow media led by the NWHills marriage ministry team. Candidly covering a wide range of topics from money to sex, love, habits and communication, in-laws, mental health, addiction, and work-life boundaries, the course will illuminate 6 essential aspects of God's love, bringing His powerful example of perfect love into our imperfect marriages.

Women's Bike to Bodhi
Join us for an evening of connection, great food, and a bit of adventure! Whether you’re up for a bike ride or prefer to drive, all women are welcome.
Here’s the plan:
🚴♀️ Meet at 5:30 PM at Northwest Hills — 3300 NW Walnut Blvd, Corvallis
From there, we’ll head to Bodhi Bistro on 1st Street together — some biking, some driving!
Invite a friend, bring your appetite, and come ready for a fun summer night out!
Here are the bike route options starting from NWH
Extended Route- 6.2 miles, 30 min
Direct Route - 3.5 miles, 19 min
Return route - 3.6 miles, 21 minutes
The return route is different due to one-way streets.
