The Mix is designed just for 4th and 5th graders—a place where kids can build friendships, burn off energy with high-energy games, and have meaningful conversations about things that matter. Each week includes interactive activities, engaging discussions, and, of course, snacks!

What your 4th or 5th grader can expect:

  • Safe, welcoming environment

  • Fun, structured activities

  • Caring leaders who connect with each child

  • An awesome snack//food! Anything from cookies to pizza!

The Mix AM: Sunday mornings at 11am in E7
The Mix PM: Sunday nights from 6-7:30pm in the NWH MOD (W3)

Costume Party & Escape Room Challenge

Be ready for tasty treats and tricky puzzles during our Ultimate Escape Room Challenge! Join us for an evening of costumes, games, great conversations, and small groups, too. All 4th and 5th graders are welcome!

The MIx

Team

Leading the charge in our 4th and 5th grade ministry is our Children’s Ministry Director, Jessi Furlo, and intern, Kayla Opferman. They’re supported by an incredible team of volunteers who help make each Sunday night unforgettable for your kids.

Jessi and Kayla are passionate about creating a space where kids can have fun, build community, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.

  • Some students bring a bible, some bring a notebook, but all that’s asked is that your student show up! We have the rest! Including awesome snacks!

  • Nope! We would love to have you join us on a Sunday, but that is not a requirement for your 4th or 5th grader to come and hang out with other kids their age!

  • Look at the map on this page for directions! We are located at 3300 NW Walnut Blvd!

    We meet in our modular building at the end of our parking lot. You will see a tent and leaders outside waiting to welcome your kid(s)!
