Leadership Development Course
Purpose
To bring select men together to experience authentic community, capture a life-changing vision for the local church, and develop their leadership skills to effectively lead the church, their families, and their personal lives.
Objectives
In order to accomplish our purpose, we will:
1. Meet together weekly for 36 weeks:
- dialoging & debriefing the lessons
- challenging one another for growth and leadership (this is not group counseling but group collaboration) receive biblical/theological training (OT/NT 101/ TH101)
- sharing life
- praying for one another and for the church
2. Read and write three critical book reviews on assigned books on theology, the local church, and spiritual leadership;
3. Meet for six Saturday for initiatives and challenges;
4. Attend two weekend retreats
5. Develop/lead new/existing ministry within Northwest Hills at the end of our time together.
We are requiring all interested participants to attend Northwest Hills' Discovering Church Membership class, and either be a NWH church member or be in the membership process.
