  • On Saturday, August 6, the 35th Northwest Hills Beach Olympics was held at Ona Beach. Sixty middle school and high school students participated in this year’s full day of events, thanks to30 fabulous Northwest Hills Youth Ministry adult volunteers who made it all happen. Six teams competed in Olympic-style games and the Purple Team took the gold! Former Beaver football player Austin Hall inspired the students with a message and Mark Curtis led worship.   • All Children’s Ministry students will move up to their next Sunday School class grade on Sunday, September 11.

  • Staycation 2016—Maddest Sciencehappened on July 25-29. It was a great exploration of the formula, God’s Plan 4 You = Jesus. They averaged 110 kidseach night, including some visiting friends, and had 185 join in for the closing family celebration on Friday night.Twenty-five middle and high school students served each night, along with 40 adults, to make it an unforgettable week for all the kids. As usual, parents enjoyed the adult activities, and the guest entertainer on Friday was a blast!
