Inside Northwest Hills - September

  • Over 350 people attended the 14th Annual BBQ & Swim at Osborn Aquatic Center on August 9. Young and old enjoyed connecting with others and introducing their friends to our Northwest Hills family while enjoying tasty grilled chicken and splashing in the pool.
  • All Children’s Ministry students will move up to their next Sunday School class grade on Sunday, September 13.
  • On Saturday, August 15, the 34th Northwest Hills Beach Olympics was held at Ona Beach. 73 middle school and high school students participated in this year’s full day of events, thanks to 41 fabulous Northwest Hills Youth Ministry adult volunteers who made it all happen. Eight teams competed in Olympic–style games and the Pink Team took the gold! Former Beaver football player Tim Euhus inspired the students with a message titled What We Value. Visit the Northwest Hills Media Gallery to see a photo recap.
  • ¨Long-time Northwest Hills member, Lucille Dobrinin, aged 90, went home to our Lord on August 6. “O death, where is your victory? Thanks be to God who give us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (I Corinthians 15:55, 57)
