Inside Northwest Hills - August

  • Northwest Hills members Peter, Diane, and Gabe arrived at their new place of ministry in Southeast Asia. A message from Diane says, “Thanks so much for your prayers. Some of the transition has been difficult, but we’re slowly getting some things in order.” Pray with Peter and Diane as they register with immigration and begin their new ministry with Wycliffe Bible Translators.

  • Eighty campers and several visitors participated in this year’s All-Church Beach Campout, July 11-14, at South Beach. Pastor Tom Ramsay led Sunday worship at the campground. Once again, Mark Heede did a fantastic job as Campout Coordinator!
  • Community Groups are meeting this summer and forming new groups for fall. For more information, see the Adult Ministries section of this newsletter or contact Pastor Josh Carstensen.
  • Beginning in August and continuing through fall, our worship teams will ramp back up to a full-band format. During that time there will be opportunities for new musicians to get involved. If you play electric guitar, keyboards, drums, or bass, and you enjoy playing the style of music we use at Northwest Hills, find out more about being involved in the Worship Arts Ministry by marking a Connection Card or contacting Pastor Paul.
