  • We welcome to Northwest Hills membership: Peggy Bunt, Heather Dody, Malary Paoli, Susan Wagner, Joshua Wilcox, and Kristina Wonderly.
  • Kim Heede did an amazing job coordinating the photo sessions and organization of our new Northwest Hills' family pictorial directory.
  • In addition to using our Care Fund to meet the needs of individual both within and outside our congregation, our Northwest Hills Elders Team recently distributed a special gift $1,200 to our ministry partner, Love INC, to assist with expenses for this year's Women's Cold Weather Shelter. Also, a special gift of $500 was sent to our local community partner, We Care, a volunteer group that provides one-time financial assistance to residents of Benton County who are in emergency situations in which no other help from public or private resources is available.
  • The Northwest Medical Teams Mobile Dental Van made another visit to our church parking lot on November 7. Volunteer dentists worked all day serving patients from our community who lack the financial resources to pay for urgently needed dental care. We regularly host the dental van in cooperation with our local ministry partner, Love INC.
  • Members of our Northwest Hills family provided about 250 shoebox gifts for this year's Operation Christmas Child. Each box was packed with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, candy, and other fun and useful presents, They will be distributed this Christmas, along with the message of the good news of Jesus Christ, to needy children around the world through the ministry of Samaritan's Purse.
  • For the fourth year in a row, Vickie Lee, did a fantastic job as the Northwest Hills coordinator for Operation Christmas Child. Vicki also served again as a regional coordinator for the Operation Christmas child here in Oregon.
  • Our College Ministry's Mission Team leaves Thursday, December 8, to assist Northwest Hills supported missionary, Paulo Mota, in the work of Restoration Ministries in the slums of Sao Paulo, Brazil. the team will return December 20. As they finish preparations here and while they are ways on their mission, please pray for team members Christy Baggett, Caeli Brannon, Kyle Glidden, Austin Hawkins, Peter McMillan, Tom Ramsay, Aimee Schwab, Casey Snider, Lacey Thrower, Josh Wilcox, and Nick Wong.  Reminder cards with specific prayer requests for each team member are available in the church lobby. The remaining financial need for the mission is $4000. To contribute mark your gifts for the Brazil team.
  • Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC), our ministry partner, is again opening a cold weather women's shelter at Life Community Church, November through March. Northwest Hills will be hosting the nights of February 5-11.
